You've already taken your first steps with your board, but you want to take it to the next level and need extra help to start reading the waves, surfing right or left on the shoulder of the wave to go surfing in more intermediate spots.

Perfect, our intermediate surf lessons are ideal for giving you the keys to improving your surfing in the short term.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN IN YOUR SURF LESSON?

The aim of this surfing course is to learn how to ride smooth waves. You already have some surfing experience: either from previous surfing courses, or from surfing on your own or with friends. You'd like to make progress, move out to sea and catch waves that haven't yet broken.

TRAINING OBJECTIVES

At intermediate level, we'll ride green waves in the right direction and learn basic maneuvers to take advantage of every wave. With this course, you'll gain confidence and improve your wave knowledge to become a better surfer.

The aim is to develop good rowing technique and a good standing position (without dropping the knee). You'll also learn how to position yourself and act safely in the water. We'll teach you how to interpret waves (left or right) and know when to catch the wave and recognize the line of the wave.

COURSE SEQUENCE

Welcome trainees to the school.
Choice of equipment (wetsuits and boards) adapted to surfing conditions and each person's level of experience.
Definition of the most suitable spot according to swell, tides and sandbanks.
Specific warm-up to awaken the muscles and joints required during the session.
Launch with advice tailored to your individual needs.
Return to the surf school and debriefing.

1h30 of surfing (equipment and insurance included).
Meet 15 minutes before the lesson time at our school on the main square in Moliets Plage. The schedule will depend on sea conditions. Safety and wave quality are our priorities.
Maximum 8 students per instructor. Minimum age 5.
