advanced surf course
What is it?
The advanced surf course takes place offshore or on reforming waves. The aim is to learn how to surf waves as soon as they rise, following their evolution and riding the smooth part of them. To do this, you need to have a good grasp of the basics: proper paddling, good righting, knowing how to direct your board, and beginning to understand the ocean and the waves. You also need to be in good physical condition.
The aim of this course is to develop the surfer's "marine eye". Like the Jedi, we'll learn to use the ocean's forces, the current, to get out to sea. Then all the teaching is centered on positioning on the waves: in other words, knowing how to position yourself according to the coming and breaking of the waves, knowing how to manage your position in depth and laterally. And of course, your instructor is at your side!
